-Xian Jian Qi Xia Zhuan-
What is Xian Jian Qi Xia Zhuan you may ask me... I would answer its a game that got me addicted to the world of fantasy.
*ahem story telling time*
In 1998, during my Pri6 break I went to Hong Kong to visit my granny and aunt. It was quite boring though, cause the weather was a bit cold for us (sg children) we didn't go out too often in hong kong. Then my aunt introduced us a dos game. The first version of xian jian qi xia zhuan. It was a game with a nice graphic (at that time) with a beautiful story. We stayed in hong kong for 3 weeks, of course didn't manage to finish that chinese rpg game. As the game was installed into the harddisk (no cd burner at that time) I couldn't bring it back to singapore. So after we went back, me and my sis went searching up and down for that game. Sadly it was no where to be found in singapore. Hoho luckily after i enter sec school my friend introduce me to ff8 to play! lol thats another story again.
Years passed but I didn't forget about xian jian, cause its a very very nice game, though the grahpic of technology improved, I still wanted to play the game badly as I wanted to know the endinggg, In 2000, by chance we came across a dos game downloading web, we found xian jian lol! Great but we are not using broadband at that time, so we took about 8 hours non stop watching the com at midnight till morning to make sure the file is still downloading (not broken)... lol yup we did downloaded it and replay the whole thing + complete the ending!! But we were surprised the ending was a bad one, a tragic...
Then the we were back to our ff series again, thumbs up to squaresoft aka square-enix now, their games were brilllant!
In 2002 (about there) we replay xianjian again with the brand new graphic softworld release, lemme tell u its the most brillant chinese game ever! Though the ending was still a disappointing one.
And finally up to today, we found out channel U will be showing the latest game drama... it was a complicated feeling, you waited for it yet afraid that it would disappoint you again, nah, not in terms of the ending, the ending was always like that but I'm more afraid to the way the new drama express the show... *sigh* guess you wont understand also... ah my ling er... *sobs*
Hope the new show would be a good one, anyway, the new star for ling er, liu yi fei is super beautiful lol... thats something I'm quite happy about. Generally I think the cast are alright, I'm just afraid of the script writer.
So go play Xian Jian! NOte* is Xing Xian Jian Qi Xia Zhuan, dont go buy the XIan JIan Qi Xia Zhuan 2 or 3, its completely different and 2 is super erm ... -_- not nice..... cos the main story is about some other unrelated ppl. 3 I havent try but I would suggest you go to the first Xian Jian first! Oh btw Xuan Yuan Jian series not bad also, I've started on Xuan Yuan JIan 3 and it was really nice. Havent complete 4 and 5 yet, you can find those chinese game at popular or big computer game shop. Made by SoftWorld. Buy Original! It wont cost a lot. Those game are worth with it with their big big nice boxes!
