writing contest... i found one writing contest at the blogger main page! those interested please go take a look! ^_^ its about finishing a 50000 word novel in 1 month... recalling about.. i wrote a forbidden love for 20,000+ for about 2 weeks lol... of course thanks to my great editing and screen shooting team mates Jermie! Scopio! Vomit! Momo! Wenny! (special thanks to Hoshi who's been with me for the last two contest! Shijie you are the best!) that make us come first in the role playing story contest. First in every role playing contest ek held lol.. (and if u ask me if i'm participating, nope is the answer lol, first i dun feel like writin english story at the moment but i might change my mind though..)
I'm trying to jump out of the small circle of writing into a bigger competition, but thats something thats hard though... but recently, I'm quite happy about breaking thru my writer's mid point crisis. Lemme describe the author mid point crisis nono it's not that I've reach 40 ahem, I'm 18. Its about feeling your story is crap yet you can think of no ways to improve it, and then you left your story un-attended for more than a year because you just don't feel like touching them. I've written chinese/english romance stuffy, chinese wu xia story, chinese myths story, and fantasy english story. Breakthru my mid point crisis for the chinese/english romance story long ago, just breakthru a wu xia chinese story, and very recent I just flip back a old old story chinese myths story I've done and make a complete change to the plotting and I felt wow! I seems to have suceeded in breaking thru my mid point crisis of myths stories! That was a wonderful feeling, u felt u have improved!
During these three years of writing life, I realise something when you are participating in some competition, you must write your story with confident like you are damn sure your story would come in first - write your story as number 1 story.
Then... Love your characters, your story characters, cause if you don't like them, nobody else would.
